my friend jules who got to clean the mixing bowl, the mixing tool (whisk?) and the spoon approved of the taste, offerings to the chocolate fairye were made, and now we wait.....the ganache will hopefully be firm, yet smooth and rich , and the casing of the slap will be glossy, shiny and break with a little krk,

i really really like making chocolate, its one of this little delicate/decadent pleasures in life that are easily shared......

    Announce News Just In

I have just got off the phone with Irene (the manager) and she said for us to call into the Mangonui Hotel on the way (which is 2 kms from the lodge) because Sunshine FM will be there and would like to have a word with us.
Easier for us to get to the Lodge that way also.

Looking good for Crayfish and Schnapper along with the b-b-q on Friday night....

If possible....$50 cash (each) to be paid for the food part of the stay...$100 (each) for the two nights can be card swiped or cash.

    Any questions?

It's the annual "who can jump farthest off the wharf" competition. I think ewes lot are the Evel Knievel contingent. Bring some CRC.

They do have drag racing too, but that is farmers & fishermen in frocks & high heels.

Pack Rack is on the bike but it ruins the aesthetics so badly.

Just need to pack my bag, repack and then just do it a third time to make sure I have everything I need and want to take on the trip although no doubt murphys law I will forget someting or rather lol.
