    sweet, my bike is now fixed! Just looks like crap...meh... as long as the wheels still move happily then I am happy.
    Got to think of what to pack now..

    - Tequila
    - Socks
    - Condoms

    That's all I can think of...

    Well my first half of preperation is done. Leanrt how to lean today. and no absolutly love the road from kopu to whitianga. Unfortunately also learnt that riding all day when you have never done it before makes your arms and leg muscles go on strike once it gets dark. im struggling to type this.

    but ahwell. learn new stuff everyday

    Hope you slept well. We wont stress you quite so badly on the weekend, though I reckon everyone will sleep well Sunday night

    That is why I have broken the Friday ride into 3 X 80Km stints and 1 X 50Km stint...with decent breaks in between.
    In fact, all three days are broken into managable gaps...
