I'll pass, just got a speeding ticket in a temporary speed zone, the demerits of which put me over 100.

wellit will take 28 days for you to get the official notice and then you will have nother 28 days to pay it, so in theory you should get another 56 days before you have to surrender. better procrastinate paying it so you cam get a bit more out of warm summer riding. my view on it.

Ouch Wanpo! Just as well your job doesn't depend on you needing your licence! So I guess its time to bust out the bicycle?

I'm thinking I'm just out of luck; I'll check today, but I think the 50 demerits was some time in February 2 years ago

Not to worry, I'm sure Gremlin can offer some good words of advice. He has been down this road (haha) before ... and his ability to get around to clients off site was crucial to his employment. He will no doubt tell you what a naughty boy you are and then give you the learn about the law!

I'll say! I'm heading over to HK and China for weeks at the end of this year ... so this will be the longest time without my preccciouuuuussseesssss!

Will have to console myself by checking out local bike gear shops and playing "whazzat bike" neck turning (though in China, I doubt I will see the plethora of bikes we have here - just the little putt putt varieties!)

Yeah he posted a link to a possible exception license, but I don't really need one; I'm walking distance to work (~6k each way) and will probably run into/from work to get a bit of fitness going. It sucks, but I can't blame anyone for it except myself and don't want to play the system.
