So next week we are looking at doing a longer ride and no car park session, since it is the last for the year.

How about a ride up via SH16 to Wellsford and then onto Mangawhai Pub, and have a drink and perhaps something to eat, and then head on home?

I'm geographically challenged, and could get lost on a straight road, so would need someone else to lead.

Idea:

1. We keep on riding to Waipu pizza barn and have a pizza there. Ride is quite tecnical though so caution will be required. Waipu is about 43 km from Wellsford.

2. We go for a ride to Kaiaua, but meeting place will have to be BP Botany instead of shell westgate.

3. We go for a ride to Cape reinga and back...

Any other ideas ?
