Theres also another reality, the costs of building Superstock suspension have been wildly and in some cases mischievously overstated.

Yes you do have to fiddle with it and have someone available that knows what they are doing, but that is no less true for all brands of aftermarket suspension.

We have had confirmation of an entry for SuperStock600's from Mr Shaun Harris Esq ....... by last count, this brings entry numbers up to the minimum requirement for the Class to proceed this Season. EXCELLENT news - thank you Shaun, and thank you to your valued Sponsors ; Timaru Metal Recyclers, Pirelli, CKT Ohlins, RaceFairings.co.nz

Also a big thanks to the other entrants - you guys dont just talk the talk ... you walk the walk - well done men !!!!!!!

But there is still room on the grid for you two or three others who said you were going to ............

Good news there's enough for the class. But this idea that if there's not enough at the opening rounds means the championship status is canned is rubbish. The rule book (4-10-8) is very clear that championship status is on a "round by round" basis. So, interpreted, this would mean for example if there were 6 at Rnd 1 and Rnd2, then 5 entries at Rnd3, then champ points count at 1, 2 but not at 3. So you can still have and effective Nat championship, even if only one round of five had the sufficient numbers.
    That's the way it reads.

    That is right.
There have been plenty of examples in the past of people entering who had no intention of racing just so that there would be sufficient 'entries' for the class.
And Oyster is right too, I believe. If entries are sufficient at Rounds 1, 3 and 4 but not at Rounds 2 and 5, then that class has a 3 event championship. The class entries at Rnds 2 and 5 are then distributed into another class where or if appropriate; e.g. as I would read it, if insufficient 600SStock entries, they would become 600SSport entries for that meeting.
