So do you just strap your tent and sleeping bag at the back of your bike?
Still unsure of how to do this.... Never been on an overnight trip with my bike before
But I'm definitely in favor of camping

Yup just strap it on. Photo here, http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...light=calender

Ive got a smaller sleeping bag now and am getting a much smaller tent so will take less room.

I don't think I've got the smallest sleeping bag or tent.... but I'm sure I can strap it on somehow...
If I loose it on the way I guess someone will just get another roomy

Hopefully I will at least make it to the meeting point so that I can just put it into a car that is driving down

A good friend of mine has kindly invited me down to her families bach for the week after Xmas, down in Opotiki, I'm thinking if the weather is nice I'll take the bike down... I'm already getting restless waiting for the Taupo weekend! Lol

I dont think unless taking the kids the car would be used for trips away now. I now only put $25 gas a week into the car so I can get and drop the kids. Probably dont need such a big car now.
