I will try my hardest to be there, will depend on treatment,if having radiation will probably flag it as it does tire you,but if it is at all possible will give it a go,many thanks for kind words, truly great folks, just another hurdle to get over, much like honda riders face.

Seeing as attendance is closed those people I had thought off ill let slip.

However I have a guy from work who is interested in coming. I asked him because I thought we were down one (and I'm still down a roomie). If we have a full quota, then I can tell him sorry but no.

If he can be accommodated then it would be awesome. But if not, then thats fine, i'm sure someone on here won't mind bunking with us

I believe your best to avoid the Kaimais (Mountain Range that seperates Tauranga from Matamata) at the moment as there was a spill of Tallow on it recently. So your best bet is down either via coromandel loop or straight down via Waipu/Paeroa.

We are off to Rotorua on Saturday morning...coming back Tuesday.
Going to have a look at a bit of the Taupo Ride route on the way back.
Paeroa/Waihi as Grant attempted to say, Waipu is a bit out of the way...

Well you go straight, straight, straight and your there...

A nice one is to go through Miranda and Kaiua. Only a small detour, but be carefull because on the corners through the forest area there isn't much sunlight so there is alot of moss and crap on the corners. Just go slowly through there, but it is a beautiful road!
Rest in peace Tony - you will be missed.

Must go on Friday, as I am on Kitchen Duty on Saturday......
so friday I go.....I might even get there

I am really looking at the easiest possible way, or if i may put it this way, i would like to minimise any scenic detours i might find.....

SH2 is the most direct @ 200 kms and takes all the way there there to there...
