Now thats a loop LOL happy now. Youre not tempted to head out through Aria, down to Awakino n up the coast to Kawhia ?? great way to end an epic loop !!
Working on our own trip at the mo - head to SI on the 16th and doing a top half tour in between visiting Donna's folks and a couple of loops around the Nelson lakes area. Rimutaka hill and a north route home yet to be determined - Gentle Annie high on the priority though. Can't wait !!!!
If you don't know where you are going , any road will get you there ............

Went through the Gentle Annie in Sept & even with all the wind & rain is was still epic Very determined to get through there again over the summer so thought I best include it in the Xmas loop ( hook ) So Xmas ride will cover both GA & Fogotten Highway I hope your ride is sorted for you before the 16th comes around

mmmm that gets me thinking...our plans for new years turned to shit and I was thinking of finally dragging the old girl ridding since thats why we got bikes. Gentle Annie sounds like a bloody good excuse and it's in the general direction I was thinking of heading.

Only problem is Brooke will give me the excuse that she can't fit the old mans bike and she'll have to ride the Daytona. Dunno if I can handle riding good roads without Sonic II

    I hope she is gentle.

Me and few others are planning a Coro loop around the 28th
I've spent my money on bikes, booze and babes. The rest I've wasted....

Date is not set in concrete yet. depends on weather and if others can make it on that day. If it is only me left I am flexible so can do 29th or even 30th if you keen for a ride

I have Christmas day and Boxing day off and then work until 31st. Got first week of January off though - apart from a couple of days away camping with 'erself. Not sure of those dates yet either...

As a suggestion from Rimutaka Hill, follow route52 to Waipakarau then up to Havelock Nth then onto GA

Gentle Annie runs between Taihape and Napier. Its around 130kms and goes through bush, hills and farmland. untill recently it was grovel, but now it is fully sealed. Very good bike road with great scenery
