it worked when I went to Tauranga, only once did I for the briefest moments contemplate the going to Hamilton.....

I am hoping that he means corners as in turning into a new road so that we don't all end up in different parts of the Waikato/BOP area. Normal travel on the road should be no different than what we did on the cape with FEC leading the way and keeping overall eye on the group with TEC following up the rear.

re-group if ultimately FEC feels that there is to bigger split happening.

Yes Grant, turning a corner is turning into a new road from the one you are currently on, everything else is a bend.
You dont turn in a bend, you go around a bend (not to be confused with going around the bend)
One turns a ''corner''.

It's to avoid any unintentional detours.... so if there is a gap in the group and we get to an intersection/turn off/fork in road etc, and you can't see the rider behind you - you wait until you know that the person behind you has seen which direction/turn off/route/fork in the road the group is taking so we stay together and get to the same place - believe me we have lost people by NOT doing this...

I've heard of bending space before but only on a theoretical level and then with a VERY large mass - somewhat larger than the average motorcycle (although Gremlin's GS might be getting close with a few more gadgets).

I was thinking more of a flux capacitor and getting up to 88 miles so we can go back in time to previous corners and we can wait while we are still riding all at the same time.

Holy shit, I've just clicked that I'm gonna be one of the "old" guys on this ride Yesterday 1000km in the pissing rain and now this??? What a grim way to end the year....

My first decent crash was on my way to a 21st. Taught me never to ride in jeans and shoes, no matter how short the ride or what you're doing when you get there. Also helped teach me not to ride like a dick ......
