Bid to tattoo a woman's bottom

A Lower Hutt woman is auctioning the chance to put a tattoo on her bottom to help pay off her mounting bills.

Tina Beznec, 23, created the online auction "YOUR Tattoo on my Bum!!'' on Trade Me yesterday in the hope of raising cash after being made redundant twice in the past year and being unemployed for four months.

She plans to spend a portion of the money to visit her mum in Australia and will also donate 20 per cent of highest bid to a charity of the winner's choice.

"I'm constantly trying to thinking of creative things and ways you can make money and I have never actually heard of it being done before.''

The winner can watch her cheek being inked with a tattoo no larger than 9cm by 9cm by her chosen tattoo artist.

She will also provide a framed photo of the final product to the winner, should they want it.

The large tattoo on her arm has an ocean theme and depicts a female pirate. She has an appointment to add a treasure chest next week.

A few points to consider -

1. She claims it's because she has been laid off twice in a year, and was unemployed for 4 months. Stuff says she is employed by a freighting company, so as others have said - she can't be that skint.

2. If she is being laid off, perhaps pursuing a career where she was competent enough to be an asset they don't want to get rid of, is the way to go. Not to mention the publicity may make it hard for her to get a [better?] job until the lime light fades.

3. The tattoo should read "I whored my body and all I got for it was this lousy tattoo"

4. She suggest marriage proposal or promotion. There are some obvious issues as to the effectiveness for either. And raises the question how many people see her ass if it is for promotion?

5. Finally, she has done a twitter-esque or facebook-esque photo of herself for the ad, not showing much of what is being sold (the use of her body).

So I leave you with this
