Oh really? Did it occur to you to do a quick google search on foreigners buying up Australian land?? Its a big issue over there and the buying by China and Middle Eastern investors is huge. It dwarfs what is happening here.

Not only farmland but mineral resources too. Julia ain't stopping it.

I believe the Maldivens want to buy land for when their islands disappear under the water too... Do the Oz land buyouts have any local buyers? the short google search didn't tell me that. How many NZ's can you fit into Oz? I don't believe that selling your land is a good idea where it produces most of your income... especially when you don't have lots of it to start with.

You seem to be confused between investment and ownership. Oh and you seem to forget it was Aus that had the white Australia policy so I guess they would be classed as white.
