Motorbike boots for work

Hi all

Just wondering if anyone can suggest good motorbike books which can be worn during the work day to go along with business shirt/pants attire . I currently backpack a 2nd pair of black shoes to work, but gets a bit tedious .

I leave my work shoes at work, and hop out of the boots and into em when I arrive. Also allows me 10-15 minutes to run/hobble around the office in my socks

Proper bike boots are simply not made for walking. Either leave a pair of shoes at work, or just get some tidy looking steel cap work boots instead of bike boots.

+ leaving a pair of shoes at work.. I also cycle in, and cycling shoes are even worse to wear than boots lol (since they are kevlar or fibreglass and designed to have no flex).

I have a pair of rubber soled, leather topped croc dress shoes.. really comfy to wear about the office and look decent (people dont know they are crocs)

Ya know I don't think it's a good idea using work boots to ride your bike in! I had a second cousin twice removed who rode in jandals on an R1 and died because of it!

You have a much higher chance of loosing all of your limbs and the possibility of crushing your feet if you crash!

You also shouldn't wear normal pants whilst riding because when it rains it gets bloody cold.

You are going to die if you continue like this.

if you are entirely wedded to the idea of not changing your shoes (maybe you have the worst toe jam in the western world), perhaps consider something like these (not steelcap)

I ride with these, they're nice and snug fitting, offer reasonable ankle protection, and I try to keep them clean so they look just like normal leather shoes when I need to look the part. Still not as good as proper motorbike boots though, mind you... Nothing beats the feeling of proper protection when riding...

I ride in with riding boots and change into formal shoes I leave at the office.

Obviously proper riding boots are the choice but shorter style riding boots are also available and easier to walk in.

Tactical type boots are not as good but a better option than jandals and shoes.
