Nice lines, good passing technique... what bike were you riding? You seemed to be getting past them pretty easily. Nice video all in all! :-)

Looking good Matt, hard to tell from a video actual corner entry speed and exit speed but was good idea having those riders go real slow for you so you look like your riding super fast
Just jokes
Dug out my shitty camera for my bike will have to give it a go, or maybe invest in a go pro camera to use.
For any one interested I am going to Taupo Track day on the 16/17 March if people want to come along to ride - Moto TT run and both days of riding, should be awesome.
Only been on Taupo once before so pretty keen to give it another nudge.
nice video and really good blog - how do you go about getting yourself on a track day here? what are the rules re: kit and bike prep?
i previously posted in here about wanting to attend this run... but we have a visitor from the uk and we're heading down to rotorua... if i see any of you on my way down in the car (sob!) I'll be sure to wave enthusiastically (albeit with a green eye!)
There was a couple of options for track days, but alas hampton ride days are no more as of end of February, unless things change. However Moto TT ( www.motott.co.nz) run days at Taupo and Manfield, there is also the ART (advanced rider training) days at Pukekohe as well which are meant to be really good.
Otherwise some clubs etc also run days.
No Doubt about you Mark, you have ingeniousy hit on a way to have a safe group ride. I stopped organising mass Coro loop rides well over a year ago after the last one that(not organised or attened by me) ended in a fatality. I would not be able to live with myself if there was a fatal accident on a loop that I organised, keep up the good work I will get myself along on one of thes rides in the future. May all your learner mentoring ridesbe blessed with good Karma.
Well this is irritating. Due to several changes with work. Mostly that instead of 2 decnt paychecks per month i now get one big one I will be unable to attend the trip. My big paycheck arrives just after this trip so I wouldnt even be able to pay for the fuel to get half way.
Hope you all have fun and take heaps of Pictures !!!!!!!
