Exactly! AFTER the wall went up! Rossi wasn't happy about the sharing of info, it's no secret that the wall went up when Vale realised all his testing was being fed to Jorge. Hey the guy can ride, and set up a bike. I'm simply stating that when Rossi finally twigged he was being used, Jorge was up to speed. I'm sure he would have gotten there eventually. As for the after race flag planting and big leaps off the podium, it all says try hard to me..![]()

I think it's pretty safe to say he's not pinching setup info now. The Yamaha will be quite a bit different with the litre engine in it.

@antwest13 After talking with some teams in UK I'm really impressed with the standard & commitment they put into racing.BSB could be the place for me!

But wait, theres more ! http://www.superbikeplanet.com/2012/Feb/120207c.htm
I don't think Ant West really did enough in Moto2 for me. He has had some impressive rides especially in the wet, but somehow never seemed to fire a shot in Moto2. Maybe the bike was that bad? I don't think he's any great loss to MotoGP though, Matti Pasini is probably a better bet for a CRT team. Seems Yonny Henandaz may be losing his ride for the same reason, unable to bring in any decent $$$ himself.
The bike was pretty bad, maybe not so bad, but combine that with the team, which was very certainly substandard, and the lack of funding for new parts and all the rest of it, then he was on a hiding to nothing. Just look at the improvement in results in very short time when Willing came on board with the team. No one can win anything if they bring a pony to a thoroughbred race.
He may be a bogan, he may not be very sophisticated nor have big money supporters as a result, but West really is one of the best motorbike racers around and brings some colour to the paddock. Especially when his old man gets drunk and then gets arrested for fighting and when he brings his bogan mates and their bogana chicks to the paddock. Classic.
His personality and lifestyle has militated against him getting better rides in better teams and he rubs people up the wrong way (I know, I chatted with him and his chief mechanic (separately) when he was in 250 in 2006 and that's what he said), but if he can land a good ride in BSB and pull his head in and perform, then the same route that Hopper has taken is open to him.
Good luck to him I say.

Ant Gobert and Ant West? Hell of a coincidence if you are into conspiracy theories. Maybe they share the same dealer.
Bogun chicks? mmmmmmmm.![]()
