I first met Cam about 10 years ago, when Dominic started racing 125's.
A group of us used to impose on the Jones Family en mass every time there was a big meeting at Teratonga.
A couple of times my girlfriend came with us, and Cam willingly gave up his bed to her so that she did't have to sleep on the crowded floor in the upstairs lounge.
Pete and Felicity raised one heck of a Family, and have my sincere sympathy at this time, as do his Brothers.
That is truly devastating news. Pete and Family and Cams friends my thoughts are with you.

RIP Cam. Say hi to Marco, Shoya and others. Deepest condolences to family and friends.
"...New Zealanders, for all their faults, have virtues that are precious: an unwillingness to be intimidated by the new, the formidable, or class systems; trust in situations where there would otherwise be none; compassion for the underdog; a sense of responsibility for people in difficulty; not undertaking to do something without seeing it through - "

My deepest sympathies to the Jones family, I've only met Cam a few times but he seemed like a chip off the old block and a super nice upstanding guy like his brothers. May he rest in peace.
RIP young fella :|
Built for speed, not for comfort
Cam was an inspiration to so many young riders. I hope the existing young riders and those that enter into this sport take the spirit and memory of Cam with them as they compete in the sport and in life.
My sincere condolences to all the Jones family.
RIP Champ .
very sorry to hear RIP cam
RIP young man. My heart goes out to Cams mum, dad, siblings and extended family.
I shall savour the coffee and remember each time I drink it how we must all make the most of every day we have in life and with those we love.
Latest from family:..
Hard day today making arrangements for Camerons funeral. We have shed lots of tears and also had alot of laughs. Funeral is on Wednesday at 2pm at Westpark, [ Lamb & Hayward ], 467 Wairakei Rd, Burnside, Christchurch. We also now have Cameron at home and you are welcome to come to our home and spend time with Cameron and/or ourselves if you wish. He looks great. Someone will be here at all times so please come anytime. Thinking of you all and hope you have support, as we do, to get through this sad time...
Your picture's in my wallet and I'm sitting on it. And if that isn't love, I don't know what is
