Sorry if I am being a retard

Maybe I have missed news updates and the like but can anyone tell me what happened to Sam Smith. He was an up and coming rider a couple of years ago and I seem to recall that he headed off overseas. But since than I have not heard mention of him. Does anyone know what has happened to him as I was hoping he was NZs next big hope.

Sams still around and is into drift cars, he got a bang on the head and is not allowed to his bike racing license for a period of time

I often wondered the same thing as I came up against a young Sam Smith on the track when racing a few years ago and honestly thought he had the potential to be our next Aaron Slight. Shame it went wrong and he lost the passion - if that is the case...

Yeah, he had a mountain biking accident and whacked his head pretty bad, all on top of the Superbike crashes and injuries he had sustained.
All took time to come right, if they have 100% come right.
It would knock the stuffing out of most of us I reckon.
Be cool to see him in his drift car though.....

Incorrect! Sam is still not allowed to obtain a racing licence under his doctors order.

    Farkin GOLD! Your best yet.

I think you're wrong though. I heard Sam had given up bikes and was abstaining from women, living in the Swiss Alps, herding goats and penning his memoirs.

Shame, he was a thoroughly good cunt, and one of the few proper racers who'd give me the time of day. Unlike those "up themselves" Suzuki Superbike pilots..........

Hey have you got any plans to win any races this season or what? My kids have stopped telling people I know you and I feel a bit bad for them. Eden's thinking of taking her signed Shirriff T-shirt off the wall.

My kids would never think of taking their Jimmy Mair T-Shirt off their wall for two reasons.

    1. I don't have any kids

    2. Jimmy Mair never did anything worthy of putting on a T- Shirt in the first place.
