Exciting yep but also lol. 3 weeks and 2 days to go!!! It's not cold, it's warm by Canadian standards... average high of 11 deg. C in March You'll all be at the beach and I'll be lol

I really hope all your paper work goes through in time. I have it on good authority it is still mild in Montreal

Me too! I feel a little bit better about it, having talked to a real person in Wellington today who had my application in hand and said it all looked ok... I was scared to ask if they really do send them to Montreal cos I'll be stuffed if they do... I wouldn't be going anywhere cos they have my NZ passport and Canadian citizenship with my application

I have to say the Canadian part rolls really well.

Well that would be awesome... my flight from Whangarei gets in at 6.40pm, maybe someone could ferry me over to the international terminal on the back of their bike, that would be WAY more fun than taking the bus

I'm also planning a farewell beach picnic on Sunday 26th Feb at Whangaumu Bay (Tutukaka) from 12pm onwards... you're all more than welcome to come along to that

Hmmm, OK that would mean you're possibly catching the 8pm flight, but more likely the 10:45pm flight ... which leaves tons of time for a regroup and sendoff session the likes of which has not been seen since ... well, the naughty table :-)
