You forgot the 4k tolerance, sorry that's only for Feb at this point.

I love the bit where she was one of their recruitment poster girls. Join the police, better work stories AND you can lend out your uniform to your criminal buddies/family. vetting worked well there.

    This one will help a little too;

They probably think the same when dealing with you.

Like all employees are hard working law abiding citizens.........tui add I think.

So they investigated a car theft,
Found it had something to do with a cop that has been stood down from active duty,
Now they have charged said cop.

Th police doing their job, no respect there.

Good point. That is worse than the others as it is an uncalled for group over reaction now being defended by the top brass. Another case of not being able to back off when they realise they have made a cock up.

I can understand there need to stay safe out in the feild, but a 65yr old man in his undies, armed with a bat & old pistol clearly stepping out his front door to protect his own property is NOT a threat to armed police
And to then assualt him like that?, AND charge him?...just uncalled for. (just goes to show ya...your NOT allowed too defend yourself OR your property in this country)

At the very least they could pop around to appologise and to assure the poor couple it was an honest mistake and they feel bad about how it was handled...not hide behide bullshit and top brass.

Feel so bad for the old couple and all the good police out there that have lost faith due to this.

(If it was my neighbour...I would have ran to the edge of my property with the video camera and yelled at the cops "Im recording this! leave the old man alone!!")

that is what I mean about the bullies attitude and not being able to back down when confronted with a mistake. Sure i can understand that they saw a pistol and reacted, but after they pinned him, shoved a rifle in his face and handcuffed him they must have noticed that it was only an air pistol and his age etc. There is NO excuse for it not to have stopped there. They should have apologised and released him, then I could still have some respect. But to charge and only back off when the prosecutor said you must be joking and to try and defend trying to prosecute? No Fing respect here for that.

    I'm a crane engineer.

But i can't be bothered anymore with what i was going to say as it doesn't make a difference.
You carry on with your anti police stance and tell them all about how bad they are as I know they really don't give a shit what some wanker on a forum thinks.

    have a nice day.

...similar to Scuba-Steve, except I look after the secure national network links etc for "our" largest customers (I go through more "security checks" every 3months than you have hot dinners!...to ensure Im trusted)
Why do you ask?...do you take offence to me posting an example of "bad apples" ruining the efforts of so many good Police to ensure public trust etc

And what do YOU do for a job?

Ohh, and for the record ONE of my previous "customers" WAS the NZ police (whom I have nothing but respect for ...but bad apples...is bad apples!-whom I have NO respect for)

    Looking at the policewomans face....

I can see the expression of FragileX, a type of autism......http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fragile_X_syndrome

So the cops unknowingly hire a 'tard, make her into a postergirl for their reality TV show, things go wrong at work, she gets stood down, then is up on charges for theft, when she was not present at the crime scene??

Does anyone else smell something wrong here?
What was she stood down for exactly? interpersonal issues with fellow officers?
I'm guesssing she was bullied at work, and did something about it?

At least its comforting to know its not personal with autism and the police, they just have no idea about autism in the population....in this interpersonal regard..... and when dealing with the public

The police must be doing something right, but I feel this is not one of those times............................................. ........hopefully someone on a big salary at recruitment, may eventually learn about pervasive developement disorders PDD's and learn not to hire autistic officers, terrible job choice for these people.

She prolly has no idea herself, and is encased in humiliated confusion over her employment and loss of pride and self respect........as is normally the case

carry on, nothing to see here

According to the article she leant her uniform to her son. Her son and a 'mate' then impersonated a cop and mate, don't no if the mate, as he was only in overalls, was impersonating a cop.
Seems she had dodgy family connections and a dodgy character.
Note; this is still in front of the court so is only the accusation at this stage.

    No interpersonal issues,
No retard issue, except perhaps thinking she could lend her uniform to her son to steal a car and get away with it but that's still criminal even if it is stupid.
    No work bullying.
    Did you read the article?

I, and I think most of NZ, expect police recruit vetting to be above that required for most other employment as they are one of the few gangs in our country that get the legal power to bully the rest.

Oh, okay then. Never a mistake?

I know my rant is pure speculation, but i know autism features... it has been a special interest of mine for a few years now... remember the famous retards thread? The thing with gangs is a tard tends to get a kicking...

Kind of ironic and somewhat amusing
