Whats it like in Auckland whats the riding like? very nice down here, not alot of cops and being not too far from the track is ideal. Hampton Downs?

its a bit like riding in a city.. but with harbours, mountains, volcanoes. I prefer it.. the Intruder is ok on the open roads, but it prefers "cruisin the streets"

oh, and fyi (if anyone but me cares), the latest episode of American Chopper, Senior vs jr, is out (S03E01)

The only good thing about Ngaruawahia is how many good riding roads there are to get out of there.

We do not 'mock' Ngaruawahia...we AVOID the place if humanly possible.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

You've not been here long then? We have all the 'isms, think of it as a NZ specialty.

Although I think that is more of an attempt to get you to pronounce it that way. Which would be funny, in a not funny, racism is ok if it's a joke, kind of way.

    Apparently I should lighten up.

Any country Europeans have colonised has racism. If you're in Auckland or north you'd barely notice any upfront racism, everyones pretty accepting given the ethnic diversity. Although you'll notice minorities tend to live in lower socio-economic groups than whites, with higher crime rates and everything associated. Apparently down in the south where whites are a much stronger majority they have quite strong racism. No matter if you're a 5th generation Chinese or fresh off the boat.

Though as soon as I hear an American accent I can get quite testy...
