Well what a day. Weather made for about 4 wheel changes for Fishy. I only changed to wets & back to slicks.

the majority of the racing was on a dry track. weird but the temp and kart + a bit of wind later dried the track well.

Poor 100 blew its clogs, pity as it was going ok before then.

Still loved getting out on the 50, I really like riding that bike. Just needs some more power to compete with the bigger bikes.

Yep. Another good day thanks to Fish and crew. Good to see people shifting from B into A grade. Fingers crossed for consistent dryness next round.

Yeah well Rogan proved that he was not likely to be B graded again. In teh A grade race he passed me for the lead on my 50 & then had a good tussle keeping Fish out for several laps.

Then the cheeky little bugger sneaked back into B grade for the last race. So I decided that it was a good idea to gauge the pace at the front of the B grade. . .for scientific purposes you see (not as a burgler as some people have suggested). And I think it is about right. But I see the young lad on the XL/XR100 making another leap this year, he's a good keen kid, listens & learns at a steady pace. Wish I could ride at his age, might have got somewhere as I'm a slow learner.

Thanks again fishie for running the day.
Sorry about hassling you over the decision to not have points, always a tough call to make. I am sure Andrew will be round to say the same thing soon

Sounds like fun times. Good to here Rogan is on the pace. I could not make it as I was busy baking birthday cakes for my 6 year old's birthday. And I have spent all my cash getting my good engine fixed. Will be out next time.

Yours might have gone pop. Mine went bang. More than just a piston needed. But hey she will be back better than ever.

Yeah looked into that, we were up for four entries, two transponders etc. as a result we aren't going. Cost for the the GP was about the same as Te Puke and Kaitoke rolled together so we are doing the later two.

What ever. I was a bit ticked off that the points got canceled. Went and did some work on the bikes. Was dry at Upper Hutt and town. Monday was a cracker of a day. Well see you next time.
