Basically, there is no real danger in the clip.

What is overwhelmingly noticeable is...the JOY the riders are experiencing riding their machines !

THIS surely is what biking is all about.

....or is it, as some people believe, a pastime to be continually 'ANAL'ysed and criticised for its many apparent dangers ?

Well as you are so hot on ANALysing the way some KB mentors have 'trained' newbie's and expounded on it, I am amazed you cannot see the obvious 'poor judgement's' made by the rider, as well as the bad LINES round corners, and bad practices.
example about 1.45 when he overtakes the 3 bikes leading into the right hand bend.... oncoming car that was OUT OF VIEW as he began overtaking, he relied on the 3 bikes to not alter speed or road position, then effectively had to negotiate the corner with no real 'setting up' of the line as he had to swoop back into his own lane to avoid said car.
Then at 1;50 he is over the double lines approaching a blind left hander that could as easily had a fast vehicle approaching, giving him little time to adjust his own position and 'attack' for the corner. That besides the too hard braking he was already doing from going in too hot.
2:05 he is hugging the kerb, not out towards the centre to get a better view of the apex, traffic, road conditions ahead.
Same type of incorrect LINE through to 2;25mins 2:35 enters a tight bend following the inner curve rather than going out wide and apexing the bend correctly
3:10 after taking off like a loon, totally screws the corner, the goes inside the 'shoulder' on the inside of a bend instead of following the 'outer' line for better vision and straightening out the bend
3:40 goes wayyyy to close to the wall, again following a tight circle instead of 'apexing' the bend
If the road to hell is paved with good intentions; and a man is judged by his deeds and his actions, why say it's the thought that counts? -GrayWolf

    It's not a racetrack.
    LINES are not relevant.
No one was hurt in the making of this video.
    They had FUN.
....do you know what that is....

Wow, you got a lot of holes to pick in the lines he was taking, when you can't even see the wheels or where they are on the road.

Tell me too, how does one "apex" a corner they aren't familiar with?

The rider is no Rossi as I've said earlier, but he isn't riding hard, and from what I could see there was always plenty of time and room to make corrections for him.

What is a serious danger, is the number of people on here who seem to think they have all the answers. It is not a huge leap to think that those same are going out on the roads THINKING they are safe. From the comments made it's clear that most of them don't have a clue and are inviting serious fuck ups.

Did he have a hi vis jacket on?

Shit I just watched it and thought "what an awesome peice of road". Looked racetrack smooth and couldn't help but think it just deserved to be carved up properly hahaa.
I'm picking there isn't a video online that someone doesn't think there is bad riding on...........sometimes here it really feels the same as when the god botherer's knock on the door and tell me I'm not living life right.

Agreed Drew, but you can get a fair idea by looking at the camera position in relation to him/bike when he is stationary, or riding in a straight line...
Tell me too, how does one "apex" a corner they aren't familiar with?
As before, reference the Police Roadcraft Manual... staying 'out wide' untill the apex opens up vision, then cut in, in effect making the corner longer and straighter... How else does anyone ride an piece of road? And if you remember the film maker said he has ridden the road before.

I wont dispute that, but as I pointed out, there were instances where he left himself 'wide open' to erratic behavior from oncoming trafiic...

As for the above?? Back at ya!!! I dont give a rats arsehole if you can ride rings round me, on the back wheel, whistling the star spangled banner.
You also seem to thing you are the canines testicles, and I would match you as being 'equally' dangerous!!

I don't think I'm the dog's bollux, and as for riding rings around ya, how would I know?

I don't doubt that people think I'm a hazard on the road, funny how no one I ride with agree though. And before you say that they probably ride like arseholes too, you'd need to have seen me ride to comment.
