Who gives a shit about points? Just get out there and try win some races, go fast and bash elbows with the competition. No one seems to turn up to 'fun days' because there are no points up for grabs. Points are good for adding a little bit more competition but at the end of the day isn't it more about the racing anyway (at least for buckets)? See you all at the next one, I was really gutted I missed this day

At this point, I would like to say to you: be afraid, be very afraid, you're starting to sound like me. I don't give a damn about points, position on the track, I care about having fun. B grade for the North Island series has no points, and we're having a blast. I know Josh & Will are beating me, but I know I'm beating AJ (who will only be doing the one round anyway, but what the heck, I'm beating someone bwahaha).

Now, you need a readjustment of your headspace if you are to become a real racer. Oh, you also need to turn up sometimes lol

Real racer...? What's a real racer? I also turn up more than most down in Welly. Just not so much to other events elsewhere which has a lot to do with $$$. Sure I think points are important-ish but I don't get why people don't wanna show up once a month if it's not a points round that's all.

Don't forget, some of these guys have been racing buckets longer than you've been out of nappies (okay, none of them are that old really)

No points meaning less riders means more fun for some of us

Haha fair enough. I still at least like more people there to talk shit with. Bikers are the best kind of shit talkers.
