Yes I sure do, both parked up in the garage, tanks drained, cabs drained,
sitting on blocks so there is no weight on the tires.
and covered in nice warm blanket, where they can sleep for the next few months.
    Time to be legal as
especially with all the heat we are getting from the popo

Big concrete pour last night in Dunedin. One of the drivers told me they saw three bikes early in the morning with the riders all having mohawks stuck to their helmets. He was told that there was a bike gang in Gore that ran an annual 2000km race around the south island.

    Bloody Gorons.

Passive resistance can be a whole heap of fun .
If more of us did it, well,
good people dont need to be harassed do they?
Just imagine a line of many bikes being deliberately slow , but compliant at a road check point
oh bugger, such time wasted for nothing
surely they would have to report back that out of the X amount of bikes checked, 0 was the ticket number issued.

I hope you're not ashamed of me, Trevor - like most, I left at 6pm on Friday night, and finished today (Sunday) at 4pm, having covered just 2081km. Saw a total of 7 cops, none of whom pulled me up, but all of whom were obviously targeting bike speed, as in a long line of (spread out) traffic, I was the only one swept by radar. However, as you know, I'm a law abiding fellow...

Two good night's sleep, two and a half great days riding, mostly without seeing any other TT-ers. The exception was at Mt Cook this arvo, when there were 5 bikes in the warm sun. Cape Foulwind, yesterday, was very wet. All good fun, and only had to stop 3 times for petrol. 37 litres goes a long way at the speed limit...

    Cheers,

Certainly not ... I am in admiration of your ability. Those that haven't any ... attract attention fast.

I don't text and ride at the same time ... so I abide the law too ... Getting caught is the crime ... Don't get caught ... didn't happen ....

Cape Foulwind wet ... never ...

Glad you had no problems ... and no need to be looking in the mirrors to see who's catching up on you ..

Just got back, unpacked, and am now enjoying a hot cuppaT and an Anzac biscuit.
Started 0510 yesterday on the southern loop, overnighting in Murchison.
Mt Cook was brilliant in the morning sun, got a bit wet up the Coast from Greymouth to Westport, the Buller was damp, but not wet.
Saw a HP attending to a Mistubishi Magna this morning just north of Murch, nothing else.
Takaka Hill was a treat; ran it in company of 4 other TT riders (that's riders, Shrek, not racers!!). Coming back through the Lewis is always fun.
Finished just after 1900 tonight: Great way to spend a weekend - thanks, Organisers and Crew, for another fantastic event, and well done to all the participants who rode the event, despite the tar'n'feathers that were sprayed around.

Gremlin and Whatastoner had not finished when I left the finish at 8.30pm....hope they did, I saw them at Haast at my 1/2 way mark well before 1/2 time.

2 of us were Diamond again, at 8.30pm but i expect anothe couple before 10pm

3104km, 6 hours sleep, hot shower, dinner and a top son in law who was up at 4 am to cook me up a Bacon and Egg breakfast before I left.

And regarding the nay sayers....I completed diamond at the speed limit ish...all below 110, much below 104 and if if you want the evidence.....
There are 5 pages and Haast to Mossburn is missing..

He's probably doing a victory lap since the distance would be a "bit short" for his weekend rides.

    Thumbs up

    Well done Subbike! Love it.

Blardy ridiculous focussig on the TT while Boyracers are outta control.
Looks like a good score card so far though...... Bikers 1 - Revenue Gatherers 0 ?

Twould be nice to ask the Lady what the outcome of her campaign was. Were the Riders professional and licensed? Were they wearing the appropriate apparel? Were the bikes up to scratch? How many high speed tickets issued?

Looking forward to more tales from the Riders participating.....

    Well done!
