Hmmm, so that was the reason at Tokeroa as well, or was that just hung over?

Hi you've obviously stumbled here & should try the dirt section. But a wrecker is obvious source, try Craig Bailey. Or Briun rebuilds shocks, possibly can be saved. Google for contact details.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.

It's Bruin If you go to any Waitemata club event, ask any of the organisers if TJ's there. He's more likely to be at a Riverhead event than a Woodhill one, though (but is also known to turn up these days to Woodhill, or he was last time I rode my dirtbike).

Another person to talk to is Warren Bridger, as he's worked on XR's since year dot and has a pretty good rep with them. If you want either phone number, send me a PM and I'll point you in the right direction.

Both are in Auckland, not sure where you're based.

    Gauging Interest: Crazy Parts

Crazyman and myself have been working with a few overseas suppliers for bits and pieces (consumables) for the CrazyFrames..

    Clip-ons
IManaged to find a supplier for 33mm clip-ons (suitable for FXRs); we've been using the 45mm version. very nice light bars (~ same weight as the WoodCrafts).

CNC 6000 series; they will work out at $125 set (plus shipping in NZ max $15). cheaper than Ebay/Trademe..
($150 for 50mm version; other sizes available if pre-ordered soon).
Before we rush off and bulk order, I'd be keen to get an idea of interest before we commit $$.

    Front master-cylinders
Another thing we have had some success with
($80 with the current exchange rate)

(hoping Rich/Clive/Andrew might provide some feedback here..)

Thanks Drew: three options from what I recall (I'll get the list of specs soon): 12.7mm, 14mm, 16mm

We have been using the 12.7mm version but sizes range up to 19.5mm

I'll bring a few bits along to the GP for people to look/touch/replace broken bits etc.

What's the piston size on that master cylinder?

It'd almost certainly be too big to mount on anything only running one disk. Unless front end loss is the goal.

Exactly what I thought bro, but it works great. Heaps of lever pressure and feel. Suprised the shit out of me. The best bit is the "wanker" look I get when people see it on a bucket. Priceless. Give mine a squeeze next time you see me.

Why would you lose the front with a big piston?

Large bore hydrolic cylinders displace more fluid. Get the ratio between master and slave too wrong and you end up with so little travel, exerting too much pressure, and front wheel locking up.

To put it in other terms, it reduces the feel of the lever because so little pressure goes on to apply the pads to the disk.
