It'll probably do close to 18.5km/l.
    What size main?

Not exactly sure what the 450 EXC does but on the DB1k I got to 380km before hitting reserve on my 25l tank. Summing around 5l left that equates to 5.3l/100km or 19km/l. Not bad me thinks given there was more than one strop in that 380km.

20 km /l on the 640, possibly a fraction less in hard going and slightly better if I lash out and use 98 (95 is minimum).
The R80 is worse, about 15 km/l on that, the 990 was similar, around 300kms per 21 litres.

    The 200's around 10 I think..

Sorry, OP, I've not got one of those drky540sx things either, but - 3.8? Crikey, that's impressive.
On my recent jaunt I averaged 4.8l/100kms over 2,500 kms, with a best of 4.33.

    Driven/ridden in a similar manner...

    XJR1300 - 7.2 l/100km - 1 up
    Hyundai Getz 1600 - 7.2l/100km - 2 in
    FZ1 - 6.7l/100km - 1 up

the car wins, but who gives a shit!

I used to get the same on my airheads, my 950 did marginally better than that, but not much.

think the main was 55 the largest in the kit, exhaust is pretty straight through heaps more bottom & mid range power for $75 USD just hoping it doesnt affect fuel range of my 19l tank to much.

Mine's not quite that bad, however you can take heart that it seems to be a lot more frugal than pretty much anything else I ride/race with. Surprising, I'd thought the 2T would be thirsty but those modern 4Ts sure gobble fuel.
    Cheers,

I don't care. I fill it up....when it hits reserve, I fill it again. If it's close to pay day, I ride the push bike....or steal the lawn mower gas.

I,m amazed your xt660 does 23/24 km/L have you altered your bike to do this, mine is standard and only gets 18km/L if I,m lucky when I,m having fun on it it is as low a 15kms/L .
I recently put a 16 tooth on the front its a much better bike to ride on the road now and maybe I will join the 20kms /L ???????
