Yes, but you are not allowed to use purple anything on a bike unless you are a homosexual. (Insert appropriate Honda joke here >>> ______ )

Might start a new thread closer to the day. Thinking it would be 8:30am depart from the Peg for lunch about mid day at the Bakery/Cafe first on the left.
Let me know too; the Road Whale could do with a run (& I've never gotten to the WC on it... only time trying the Buller it was solid rain AND a cycle tour so I took the omens handed to me )
He who shall go stately at the back and not stress out.
So Gareth what was it you said about MaxF's "Funky ass curves"? - God, now I'm worried...

Now you cheeky young sprout, don't you know the truth hurts.
And remember ...... if it hasn't got one of "Uncle Flip's" prosthetic kickers it isn't a real motorbike!!!

To be old and wise, first you must be young and stupid.

I guess I'm proof. Old and slow. Haven't had an off in 30 years though. (Least bins wins?)

Anyone up for a ride tomorrow? I haven't been out in a while so I've got a bit of cabin fever.

Briefly back on my soapbox, what do our newer riders want, expect, need that causes them to join WNR?? Come on you newbies, take a risk and tell us.

The young and stupid group you forgot to mention.

On a side note, I won't be around for a while, most of my electrics are rooted.

Ooh no. He also played on the oval speedway tracks where he was apparantly a danger to himself and others.

I"m a new over 40 (not so much of the old!) rider trying to become a regular WNR. Weather permitting will see you Wednesday

Hey Dan, just real glad you didn't get seriously hurt!

As for earlier comment, Why do we need to blame or have expectations of others?
Some of our riders appear to think that the L plate stands for LEADER!!!! For heavens sake if you are an experienced rider, in a sub-group, being led by an inexperienced rider, go to the front of the group.
I'm sorry to bring it up again but when 6-7 people are riding and splits into two groups, why leave three newb's in the back group. Fair comment to have an experienced rider lead but we didn't have one! It took over 20 minutes for you guys to realise we weren't behind ya and come back looking for us. So we should all be thankful he did get up...and once pulled the broken bits off and got it started and like the man child he is, got back on and rode it home!
