FYI ma peoples, am currently trialing a 2011 GT250N...totally freakin awesome. Nimble, quick, lightweight and Maakz friendly. I can see their appeal. Diff riding position and compact front consol had me temporarily vexed but sweet commute and highway blatts once i got ma comfy on. Only thing annoying, kill swith position and wind factor. Luv the purrrr...

Have you sat on one? Really tight leg position. I like me CBX still for town, ride it once a week to go get my kids. It beats the Ninja for round town hands down. So easy to split on. I think for commuting 250 is fine.

Are you becoming a sport bike rider Maggie? You will be getting your knee down soon......

Yeap, make that kill switch...and oh, i was offered it for a couple days so decided what the hang and took up the offer. Have wanted to try one out and see how it compares, oh i'm def a cruiser kinda girl but gotta exercise the feminine perogative to switch it up now and then. Quite taken with the GT and felt the need to understand the differences between bikes more, understand the perspective other riders get as they ride and the mechanics of the ride/how the bike handles under varied conditions. My brain meanders are beginning to manifest themselves; when i start overthinking, crazy $hit happens...not buying a new entry level bike...don't worry Black Bird.lol Luv A.O & MY. Spokey, i've had one for the day but give it back tommorrow, AOs great round town, must say the GTs better to split on, leg positions not as bad as i thought it would be. Adapted to it well, but am a bit short on it, tippy toes..NOT a chance i'm turning to the dark side, i'm def a CRUISER admirer an avowed rider. OMG i didn't realise motu was code for fingers, that's not the emoticon i was goin for, how rude!

You can get lowering kits for the GT250s, but why get a 250 when they do a 650........

MMMmmmmm When i get the HD paid off maybe...that's if i don't get side tracked by the Trumpy Bonnie Am. But yeah, the 650 would be a great town runner, might consider a cheapy later on down the track, AO will eventually retire...or expire...

CB1300 or GSX1400 will be me one day. Maybe a Harley for SASS cruiser club nights.

Damn it Magz, just sell AO ASAP eh. There's nothing wrong with that bike but you just don't need it anymore, also you're in danger of becoming a collector.

If you wanna go the sprotsbike path then maybe buy Howard's ZX12R. I'd buy it but I can't afford the $1000 pricetag that he's angling for

    Red face Apologies

Hey y'all, not gonna make it tonight either, have to work late-SORRY...MY and i will be absent this week...we are currently in town trying to evade the parking wardens and numnut security peoples. So hard to find a park where ya won't be harrassed or where ur ride stays exactly how ya left it.
