That's exactly why I avoid mountainous roads on the weekends and public holidays. I've seen fuckwits ride exactly like that on the way to Akaroa enough times to make me keep the bike at home.

Mr. Orange Tyre may have been being a rather a cock but the two times he was across the centre line were with about 20 times the visibility that Mr. Almost Killed Someone had. Their offences are hardly comparable.

Correct.orange tyre wasnt passing on the outside in a blind corner with double yellow lines.this we know but orange tyre is still prepaired to be on the wrong side of the road instead of having fun on his own side.lets be honest hes got a bike that handles well so why does he want to straighten a corner by crossing the centre line.I just think its likely he will still be straightening corners to this day and it may end him at some stage.

Yup I agree. To me crossing the centre line is lazy riding. Which can end up fatal.

But he had the wankmanship to offer up his displeasure about the oncoming rider doing EXACTLY what he was doing just moments before.

    (Wankmanship?..is that even a word?)

Serisouly, riders please stay off the public roads if you want to ride like this. I don't want you on the road as the same time as me.

I often do it, provided I have a good clear line of sight.
