Churchill was instrumental in establishing the illegal starvation blockade of Germany. The blockade depended on scattering mines, and classified as contraband food for civilians. The blockades in WW1 were an operation by all the Allied forces though.

Having said that, Churchill, unlike other Allied leaders, had a history of hating anything un British and would most probably not thought twice about the effects of his decisions to bomb civilians etc.

It's funny, if history has taught us 1 thing it's that humans are fuckin stupid. If you refuse to become a country, then you will be overrun and your "culture" will be removed via your inaction... and no, I don't mean hunting people down and throwing them out. Did you ever ask yourself the question: Why is Islam such a big threat? and whilst we're at it, why does Islam succeed? Pretty simple really. Relying on history for answers, oh how I lol!

I didn't state or infer they were insurgents. I merely illustrated, and made commentry on the growing numbers of intolorant muslims plagueing the uk. And highlight the fact that global islamification is a long term goal of these parasites.

I see what you mean about the inaction but is Islam such a threat Mashman? We've been mainly exposed to the fanatical fundamentalists who, according to what I can make out, are a real minority out of the 1.2 billion Muslims arond the world.

Is having your home (in Iraq, Afganistan etc) turned into a war zone, succeeding?

I'd say it is a "threat" (threat as in it scares people, they will play the long game, we'll miss it until it's too late kinda thing), well, more so than any other religion around. Muslims stick together, some may fight over "power' etc... but at the end of the day, they are all Muslim... and it doesn't seem to be a fading away. Personally I don't give a fuck if the UK burns or converts or not (I do really), but it's of their own making... the riots are of their own making... it's all in the way they live such solitary lives. Community died in the UK a loooooong time ago (perfect launchpad for a cohesive group), apart from small pockets and I foolishly thought it may still exist here, hey ho.

I'd say most of the mess in the East is of Western making, but I'm stark raving bonkers, WTF would I know.

Edity: on the upside though, I get to ride all year round here.

Let's see what happens in the UK but, I'm happy when things happen like the French banning the wearing of Islamic face veils in public. They stood up to them. Also though, there was a case in Auckland where extremist Muslims tried hijacking the running of a Mosque. They got the boot real quick!

Fair enough... although I think we're going backwards by thinking that forcing someone to remove their face cloth is going to make a blind bit of difference. Oui, they took a stand, but it's a token and nothing else, bit like banning drugs, the "problem" never really goes away.
