    Christchurch airport parking?

Flying up to Auckland tomorrow, is there a safe spot at the airport to park the bike for a couple of days?

    Cheers

Yes - in your garage and take a taxi.

Could use car storage places for peace of mind, you drop the bike to them, they drop you at the airport, e.g. craddocks

'A mate of mine' parked his bike downstairs by the pick up/drop off area for a few days.
    Expensive you say
But not if you ride through the pedestrian gap and off into the sunset...

    Apparently.

I would never condone such a thing but 'my mate' can be a shocker

PS Take note of where the security cameras are and make sure your number plate isn't facing them

When abouts is your flight? If need be I can make room in our garage for a few days - the wife wants a vanity, chest of drawers and something else she harped on about brought into the house anyway so there'll be extra room. It might save on a taxi cost.

Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't.
WD-40 if it doesn't move and it should.

Pay and park at Craddocks? That's where we are leaving our car tomorrow.

Cheers for the offer, got in touch with a friend in chch and the bike is now parked at his. Saw the various parking places so will keep them in mind for next time!

Think that's Auckland airport? Christchurch airport is fairly simple. I go to the airport quite often and I see lots of bikes parked.

    That's all I can say.

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

Thanks for the feedback, i'll head there in the morning to the parking building.

I suppose I was hoping for "there's a designated place to park bikes and its free, they just don't tell you about it on their website" I'm laughably optimistic at times.

and yes it was Auckland airport that the 2 bikes got lifted from.
