So I've heard. I've done it in a car but have yet to get around to doing it on two wheels. This will be a good oppotunity to rectify this.

It was my first real ride when I got Millie. We went to the Naki last Easter, man those roads down there were amazing!

That would be the Forgotten Highway ... awesome piece of road.

A coffee stop at the delightful cafe in the middle is a must.

Passes through Whangamomona - a place so isolated they declared themselves a republic and issue their own passports ... :-)

You would be surprised really. Once you get going it is all easy peasy. You just need to get out and ride a bit more. If I can ride all the way from here to New Plymouth in one day you can do Taupo to New Plymouth in one day easy as. Just think of the small steps is all. Break the trip up. Stop here the night both ways.

    Done

Oh I will definately be considering it don't you worry, every time I ride I get a bit better, and make small improvements. And I might just take up your offer of a place to stay each way. Thank you soo much
