On the downside, I've worked 6 hours today, and have to go back in at 10:30pm for up to 4 hours. This will be I think the first Easter Sunday I've ever worked

On the upside, it's OT on a public holiday, so I get 2.5x and a lieu day! That's positive!

A woman awakes during the night to find that her husband was not in bed.
She puts on her robe and goes downstairs to look for him. She finds
him sitting at the kitchen table with a cup of coffee in front of him.
He appears to be in deep thought, just staring at the wall.

She watches as he wiped a tear from his eye and takes a sip of his coffee.
"What's the matter, dear?", she whisper's as she steps into the room,
"Why are you down here at this time of night?"

The husband looks up from his coffee, "Do you remember 20 years ago
when we were dating, and you were only 16?" he asks solemnly.

    "Yes I do" she replies.

The husband paused, the words were not coming easily. "Do you remember
when your father caught us in the back seat of my car making love?"

"Yes, I remember" said the wife, lowering herself into a chair beside him.

The husband continued.............. "Do you remember when he shoved
the shotgun in my face and said, "Either you marry my daughter, or
I'll send you to jail for 20 years?"

"I remember that too" she replied softly.

He wiped another tear from his cheek and said, "I would have gotten
    out today"
Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon

Awesome weekends riding, until a wee encounter with some quicksand @ wangaloa saw my front brake lever going through my leg just above my ankle, was a tricky ride back to toko mouth with my boot filling with blood, had to cut a bit off my tee shirt and stuff it in the hole and wind tape around it. Then had to drive to milton and then back to gore. So finally got to the hospital 8 hrs later and got some wonderful drugs. Awsome weekend(apart from that)

You win at hard core. I finally got the brakes on my downhill bike to actually work. Now time to go see if I can complete the afternoon without breaking something.
