Like the Thai restaurant, it should be able to ban people smoking, wearing gang patches or any form of motorcycle apparel for that matter while in their premises.

Thing I hate about that is when I'm in the supermarket with my flip face lid on and get asked to remove it. I ask them if they would ask a raghead in a letter box to remove their crap on and you get the old 'oh but that's religious/cultural'....but when I tell them motorcycling is a religion they don't seem to believe me....cunts.

Churchill was instrumental in establishing the illegal starvation blockade of Germany. The blockade depended on scattering mines, and classified as contraband food for civilians. But, throughout his career, international law and the conventions created to limit the horrors of war meant nothing to Churchill. One of the consequences of the hunger blockade was that, while it killed 750,000 German civilians by hunger and malnutrition, the youth who survived went on to become the most fanatical Nazis.

Whether Churchill actually arranged for the sinking of the Lusitania on May 7, 1915, is still unclear, but it is clear that he did everything possible to ensure that innocent Americans would be killed by German attempts to break the hunger blockade.

But Churchill's greatest war crimes involved the terror bombing of German cities that killed 600,000 civilians and left some 800,000 injured.
Churchill brazenly lied to the House of Commons and the public, claiming that only military and industrial installations were targeted. In fact, the aim was to kill as many civilians as possible. Hence the application of "carpet" bombing in an attempt to terrorize the Germans into surrendering.

Its very easy to judge these sort of action (particularly Winston Churchill during the first war, as War Minister, and the second War as PM), but let's look at this adjectively..... Germany was, with-out a doubt the aggressor in the first War, the Weimar Republic wanted (and got) a War in Europe, Churchill and the entire UK had no desire to have a war of any sort, and the best way to finish it quickly is do demoralize the general population, and the easiest, quickest and cheapest way was to stop the flow of food into Germany. (the silly sausage eaters should have thought this through eh!), oh, so a few Germans would die of hunger? Well, now there is a pickle....... Better a few people who want to kill you and take your resources die, that you, surely.

Same same for the carpet bombing of what was to later become East Germany, the guys making the decisions where fully aware of the "endlösung der judenfrage", and they needed to end the war NOW, and no matter what some bleeding heart liberal wanker wants to say, these people where the enemy, and would have killed your 18 year old son, without a second thought.

They where the enemy, they wanted to rule Europe.

These whee different times, and politicians where put in positions where they had to make decisions that most of us will never have to make, but if we did, we would do EXACTLY as they have done.

Trust me, I live there, I still meet people that think America and England where at fault for the whole thing, and unfairly attacked Germany during WW2. and I know many Austrians that dream of a day that they could once again have closed boarders all around them.

NZ is the other side of the world, and you just don't know what it is like here.

I have no problems with the large scale systematic bombing of large targets, ie, Dresden. It was just a suitable target of opportunity, it was chosen for destruction because it was a mostly timber city, it had been dry and hot and the weather was clear and there were also no other higher value targets available on the day.

The Nazi and the Jap had to be stoped, in this case the cause more than justified the means.
