The bike in post 1 has long been sold...saw it parked outside the local New World here some time ago, spoke to guy as I own a 1300 at the time.

So i just fitted an oval stainless Scorpion muffler on her. Sounded a little better than stock with the baffle in. Removed baffle and now she sounds bloody awsome and deep as fark! Sounds badass decelerating too.
Im my opinion she looks bloody sexy, chuffed as. Dosent look too after marketee if you know what i mean, but looks way better than the 57kg OEM one. Can cost me $500 and came with all the fittings and a lifetime warrenty.
Only bad thing is that i can see my fuel consumption going through the bloody roof. Just way more fun to rev her out and let her sing now .........
Can post more pics if anyone cares

I had a Neptune on mine...someone else now owns it...very cool bikes.
Had a full Acrapovic system on mine. Sounded awesome
Acrapovic seem to use a different grade of stainless which doesnt discolour like the Honda one. I hated the original Honda headers for that reason. I think they look especially crappy at the collector. The Acrapovic was a work of art by comparison - perfect fit and finish and held together with those lovely springs
Have a read through this ...http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...t=headers+maha
Post 20 has the before and after shots.
Hey cheers Maha,
Good lil pearl of info there. I have some super fine steel wool that i use for wood working finnishes, might give that a try. Do you think that Autosole might do better than Brasso? Main reason I ask is I have Autosole but no Brasso. Tell me if you think im being cheap and need to get off my arse and get some Brasso.
Thanks again
