I was at Onheunga Mall this morning and bunches of the Lycra Brigade went up the narrow street and many were side-by-side, or not maintaining any semblence of single file formation, just ignoring traffic behind them. Felt like yelling out "Oi! Single file, ya sausages!"

Camera boiy didn't do this- fair enough why should he, it was his riding time & noone should take that away from him- he wanted to keep riding up buzzy's arse & either pass or piss him off.

Sounds like a certain Kymco cruiser rider who should revert to a scooter.

Interesting thread, when it involves road riders riding discourteously, their defense is that they have rights, drivers should slow down to 20km/hr, etc, but when a tosspot is pissing off another tosspot, the tosspot in the way, is an UTTER tosspot, and should therefore be abused and rendered sterile. My case rests. Cyclists are tosspots!!

Hey that's not fair you edited my post.
If Bumblebee was in a car which I was following then I'd have to dispose of him- no two ways about it. Prob with a big club or frozen tuna- something hard & big anyway. Then I'd prob have to bury him & dispose of evidence.
Or I could video him & his numberplate, put it on the interent & try to gain as much sympathy as I could & start a witchhunt.

I witnessed a very funny scene like this about 20 years ago.
I watched as a car stopped at the lites & a tall skinny 50 something year old man threw open his door & began marching purposely back to the car behind him. From his stiff body language he was getting ready to rip strips from the following driver.

The door of the following car opened & out lazily climbed a big island guy. His body language in comparison was pretty relaxed.
Mr Angry in the front saw an islander get out of the car & shat himself. He ran around to the front LH corner of the car as far away from his certain death & began asking surrounding cars for help.

All the time mr big nasty islander man stood beside the door of his own car wondering what the fuck stupid angry man was doing running around squawking.
Lites changed & I rode away laughing.

TBH, I didn't think either party was in the right. Just that if I'd been Camera Boi, I'd have let it be and gone a different route when I could... It's not like commuting to work where you're more or less restricted to one or two routes.

There must be more than one trail and it looked like a cyclist can branch off into some other directions, so why let someone hurt your recreation/relaxation time [or you] by bleating about it and almost crashing into him a couple of times? Why complain about trail courtesy and consideration, and not display any of it himself?

How many times as bikers have we been told to maintain our Zen while on the road and not let tossers in the way upset our calm.
