My retinas burnt when I looked at the indicators, I went blind and walked in to the electric fence and now I'm dead.

I may not have done that at all.
Hahaha, and I can't rep ya for it.

I need that front mud guard!
Spoked rims are the shizz, I'd love some. Not sure about putting 100hp through spokes though?

Have to D/L some pics of monster front guards, I'm thinking of making one similar, not as big though
Hmm, might be able to make an image of one on the photo studio thingy

U planning some work on the header pipes to tidy them up? On the pic's they look kinda rusty.

May the bridges I burn light the way.

When the money situation permits I'll be giving it to Bogan for a nice tasty set of stainless headers.
In the mean time, once these are chopped/shut to a 4-1 I will clean 'em up.
They're my biggest dislikes at the moment, along with the black oil cooler and ugly radiator.
Will have a sexy oil cooler one day, yet again it's down to money

Today we have learned that Kawasaki were a bunch of goat cuddling tree hugging hippy faggots
Ugly standard headers:Click image for larger version.

I knew there was some sort of dividing plate to make the air flow to the 4-2-1 even, but I didn't know there was a baffle from the collector all the way up both pipes what a fucking stupid idea Kawasaki. So, obviously being me, I ripped it all out along with the rest of the noise and HP killing junk. What a huge waste of potential CFM.

Moral of the story: More HP for Doug.

    In my mind:
The ZZR600D was claimed 100hp at the crank.
    K&N filter
    Jetting.
4-1, no baffle in the headers
    Moriwaki can
    4 degree ignition advancer.
If that doesn't make near 100hp at the wheel (let's not have arguments about dynojet vs factory pro here) I'm going to..well, not have 100hp at the wheel.

My mind went in to power mode and I started having visions of later model cams...
Then I looked up the spec, the D model has a more aggressive 'zorst cam and the lift difference between an E model and D model intake cam wouldn't make any difference whatsoever.
So, if I want moar powaaaah (don't really need more...) I'll buy an E model block and go the turbp route as already planned.

    Quick edit:
Pipe size after collector: 50mm, 1.3mm wall
Header pipe size: 36mm, 1.3mm wall (ish)
    Baffle thickness; 2mm
So my maffs sez, that I effectively have 43.6mm pipe after the collector, that is quite a restriction. Especially considering it is perforated tube and fucked, so creating lots and lots of turbulence. To my knowledge I want no restrictions after the collector, so that's a bonus!

My old flat mate's. Completely original when he got it and pretty damn mint, but he's like me and likes perfection, so he's restoring it.
Mods will be simple bolted on bits, nice suede steering wheel and Recaro fish nets.
I haven't owned one (yet) but I love 'em and have driven a fair few. Bloody brilliant cars.

its looking sweet bro - when u polished the wheels did you paint centers first then polish or did u polish first then mask off the polished areas and paint?

I think I'm polishing first then painting after.. but not sure if I will get a clean line etc

Sanded the lot down smooth, paint/masking then gave the lips a proper polish.

Might have to start a thread on Geoff the GN now.

Yea I'm lookin for fishnets too, I been trying to convince a guy I work with to sell me the ones out of his Isuzu Irmscher, its the only place I commonly see them, I wish I had the finances for perfection

You should have a look at this thread, nicest MR2 in Australia as far as I can tell http://www.mr2australia.com/mr2play/...m=1132&mpage=1 I have a set of OEM ski racks just like the ones the guy in that thread has that I might be convinced to let go of if your mate is after some rare bits

Mine runs like a boss now, picked it up yesterday.
Cleaned polished it (especially the epic wire wheels)
    Today, cabr clean/tune.
    Plug.
    Oil.
    Valve clearances.
    Checked charging system
    Blah fuckin' blah.
    Runs well now.

Bringing it home, the suspension was wound back to softer than soft so I had my boots down a few times and I was going rather slow lol
