I got bored, fell asleep, crashed, and died, just trying to read this thread and all its really big words and stuff.

I have no doubt grooming happens, but it's damn depressing if you have to defend yourself every time you post something civil.
To me the difference is wanting a conversation for conversations sake as opposed to the hope of trying to get a leg over sometime in the future.
To me, putting effort into communication with women you'd fuck if you could but know you won't get to is demeaning.
I don't bother to dress it up as being 'for conversation's sake'. Let's face it, she's got nothing interesting to say. I do not see threads about new 125s from young male learner riders getting this much eager attention.
This sort of behaviour has always been endemic to KB. I disdain it, and (as you may have noticed) I like to jump in and poke fun at those who haven't enough self-respect or self-awareness to take the same approach.

I actually wonder if you do understand respect? You like to 'needle' instead of discuss a topic sensibly, then wonder why you've gotten 'needled' in return? If anyone asks a sensible question or wants help as a new rider i will always male or female (ooops I must be bi, huh?) reply if I can offer any insight or help, As one poster here put a few weeks ago,, the old guys may come across a bit weird/strong, but we are trying to KEEP you alive!! I am NOT an 'expert rider' or professional trainer, however I have ridden almost 38yrs, as my MAIN form of transport, including English winters, London traffic and European roads..... guess I know fuck all about fuck all
