Anniversary weekend, I went on the Boyds' ride to Taranaki. Mt Messenger is all done in that stuff. Nice ride over that.

I was gonna ask if they were doing what they did on Mt Messenger. It was a PIG when they were doing it. The father-in-law said he has some hairy moments in the race car transporter when they stopped them on the hill. He said 3 trucks in a row spinning wheels is not fun!

But holy shit balls batman...it's well worth it! The grip is insane and it holds up so much better.

It's pretty much the same deal. I was over there again this morning and the western side is pretty much all done. They've also resealed the eastern side but with chip seal. Which has tons of loose blue chip on it right now. How unusual.

The hotmix joins are a little uneven though - some of the strips look to be a little higher than the one beside...

Still, the grip, as you say, is indeed lacking in sanity.

spotted a very nice 600 Bandit on retard me and said to me " Oi Dodgy......How about I get me another bike?" Who am I to question her? So seeing as how it was such a nice day today we went for a wee toodle to get the tag.
