Actually the Cambell piece was on the money. I have family links to this guy and yes he was doing what he does. There is a lot more to it of course and we have not heard the police side of the story and will have to wait for a year or 2 now. There have been reporters and cops outside his hosp ward for a week now and it is amazing how it stayed out of the news for a whole week!
It is bad news for all who are involved with the only upside being that he is off the road which he needs to be frankly.

Yes he was running from the cops................again

Yes he IS a disqualified driver, again again again etc etc

Police stupidity? Yes.
If the police are found at fault of the injury, the individual officers should be held accountable for causing bodily harm.

The now paralysed man should still be charged with driving while disqualified and evading arrest.
