He might be slow when it comes to driving when he shouldn't but I bet in the future he won't be so keen to get over a fence while cuffed...

It is a bit tough. I have never met the boy or his Dad but MamaJo has and the sistert/daughter is a very much loved and cherished partner of MamaJo's oldest son. So I know her well and know to a small extent what she has to put up with and what is going on. Note that the media still refer to Shane as the Prisoner! I believe he is currently in an induced coma and on a respirator.

so if your missus was arrested for DIC after having two glasses of wine with dinner, was handcuffed, and pushed over a fence by a cop, resulting in a broken neck, you would hold no grievance against the cops?
    I doubt that.

Its funny how the KB jury seem comfortable with making a decision, without having all the facts - but were so uproariously opposed to the levy increases, because they believed there was contrary evidence . . .

something smells funny here, and for once it aint my undies...

My thoughts exactly...muppet or not, no one (well not many) deserve that if that is what actually happened.

What proof do we have that he was pushed? (I'll happily stand/sit/type corrected)

thats half my point - there is an opinion in this thread that 'fuck him, he was a bit of a troublesome bugger, so fuck him, tough shit' - I was trying to point out that there are facts yet to be heard before anyone can really go giving a well reasoned, properly considered opinion, my post was in reference to HDC asking this:

to which fast eddie replied that yes, he would have been okay with it if that was the case

why does that matter? you said that IF the cop used excessive force or gave him a bit of the slipper, and in doing to caused, or heavily contributed to his injuries, you would definitely be okay with that - there was no discussion as to why it occurred, you simply made a blanket statement that you would be okay with that cause/effect scenario, regardless of the circumstances.
Its easy to make a 'fuck him' type comment about some cunt youve never met, but now that a theoretical circumstance involves you, or someone close to you, you suddenly want to ask more questions, and consider the other factors and circumstances . . .
