So ... 15 of us had the jab this morning. No one fell sick in the 20 minutes afterward which is a really good start. I've decided I'll monitor the group for their experiences. Hopefully next year I'll get 25 employees on board.

We had about the same take up rate at work a couple of weeks ago. I've never been sick in my life and so don't believe in having the jab but have for the last four years under doctors orders. Yesterday I should not have gone to work, full on cold developed over the weekend. I can't link it with the jab but you never know.

Has anyone ever seen a piece of phlegm that is actually too big for your mouth? Bloody thing wouldn't even go down the plughole.

Nah, you were right first time. You can't. Cold and flu are as different as Hondas and Harleys.

Am sure I shouldn't be shivering, the room is at 21.5 on the thermostat.

The government have heard your call. So they want people to "protect" their children's health or else they'll cut your benefit and your children's health will probably suffer . I love this country... the entertainment is outstanding.

That sounds like a fever. Typical response to a cold. Or its the immune reaction to the flu vaccine. Which happens.

I got my voucher, and proceeded to hiff it in my locker, I'll deal with it next week.

Can not remember the last time I was sick, bloody years ago anyway. It must be a good sign. I get plenty of exercise, plenty of fresh air, eat fairly well, and have a pretty good mental attitude most of the time. Must be doing something right. A few of my mates get colds and flues a couple of times a year.

Still coughing like a twat and using up a shit load of tissue paper. Nearly over it.

I have never believed people who claim to have fallen ill after the flu jab, crock of shit I always thought. Changed my mind now somewhat.

Will have it again next year though, but not through choice.
