    Nice route Yod,when heading through the naki,at Normanby if time head left at White Heather Caravans on Ohangai Rd,passed Tawhiti museum,follow signs to South Rd,you come out by the rail overbridge near Mokoia,takes out Hawera(unless need fuel)but typical country road,can be tractors on it and crap falls off them.

    Usually do it clockwise and stop in Hawera for gas but otherwise I'll keep an eye out for the turn off and have a nosey, cheers

    Jeebus, you need to remedy that quick-smart. Mt Messenger and Awakino gorge are seriously FMS.

    You should see what the Para's did to the DL's rubber a couple of weeks ago. Man I love that road...

    Will visit the shed tomorrow, scratch chin, um and ar and think about it...
