Colin Edwards is currently asking his followers on Twitter who they would like to see ride the NGM Forward Suter/BMW bike in Le Mans. He put forward Chris Vermeulen or Leon Haslam. Who would you vote to take his ride at Le Mans (not necessarily CV/LH)? Some commentators immediately suggested Marco Melandri but didn't think BMW would release him (or Haslam) for the race.

Troy Bayliss or Matt Mladin. But neither will.

Leon Haslam for sure, he's the most current rider of the two!

It's OK to disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.

I'm puzzled as to why anybody would want to ride it.

Or because it's a fucken MotoGP bike man!!! Anyone who said no thanks without a fantastic reason needs to be repeatedly kicked in the nuts. Even if it's just to go to the pub and say I've ridden a MotoGP bike and you haven't you LOSER.

Not quite Old Bean. It's a CRT bike.Their Superbikes are probably faster.

That's just being picky. It's on the track at the same time as the full prototypes and they're racing for the same points, not a separate championship. Besides, it's looking like a couple of the full prototype riders might be getting regularly embarrassed by the end of the season.

CRT or not it's still far better than anything anyone here will ride.

It's a CRT bike with major issues... sounds like a recipe for a really bad weekend.
