I only met Tony once or twice, and seemed like a top bloke.
Respect to his family and loved ones.

RIP Tony. Thoughts are with his family and friends as you all grieve over this loss. From the beautiful words said from those who knew him well, a great loss at that. Can't even begine to imagine the battle you were battling - full respect from afar for the love you have earned from so many.

for some........... damn good days back then.
I dont remember when I met Tony. He is one of those guys that has just always been around. I can say without a doubt that for all his stories that started and morphed into some irrelevant side tracked other story you had to like the guy. And it is outstanding the outright courage and determination that he showed on a day to day basis facing a unfair and vicious diease that has taken so many. It was a few weeks ago where we thought he would lose the fight but in true Tony fashion he stuck his finger up and did a big Fuck you to cancer and waited till he was good and ready.
I would say rest in peace but quite frankly, I cant see Tony staying quiet long enough for anyone up there to have any peace now............
All said and done, I can imagine Tony sitting up there right now going... Oh well, .. cant complain.. could be worse....
RIP to a real trooper.
Best place to stay in Hawkes Bay here
