He was talking about a RS125 complete if your 125 LC rules were fact.

My RS frame with tank, swingarm, front & rear suspension, bodywork, was $300. Right time right place. Tell me that is too expensive.
Don't you look at my accountant.

I paid around $1000 for a 1995 RS125 NX4 roller. I bought it bit by bit. For what you get I think that is a pretty good deal.

ok it was 8 years ago I got that, but I just sold a similar set up for $650 & it has (non RS) wheels in it. In fact it still hasn't left my garage because we're horse trading so not so much real $ has to change hands.

One of the first buckets I built (on my own ) was an RX 125 I used the original Rx frame and tweaked it a bit. First time out down the straight at Mt Welly for no apparent reason the front wheel tucked in spat me over the handlebars right in front of the pit gate. At least I didn't have far to walk to the pits. That was the first and last time I rode the Biatch

Thanks to the technical advances in Zip Ties I don't need to attempt welding so much these days.

For me its about having the equipment that will do the job, as in a welder that can penetrate more than 1/2mm (so exhuasts stay together) and using nylex nuts. Still need to remember finishing the basics though and not leaving until the next day and completely forgetting about it.
Yes 4 strokes are for homos. Homo-sapiens that is, who have realized bigger is better.
