The 999 wasn't the prettiest Ducati, but the 1125 is close to the ugliest Buell, not that that is saying much

The 999 would be worth getting just to sit in the garage with a joint looking at the rear cylinder head area. Lovely detailing on it... seems an easy choice.

999 all the way. A simply stunning and emotive bike to ride. Far better looking than the Buell, sublime stable handling and that motor!!!! Whoah!!!!!!!!!!! Not particularly comfortable is the only thing.

I love the look of the 999 over the 1125,...but then I'm still biased towards Italian Twins,...

Everyone is saying buy the Ducat, and thats the best reason to not buy one.
By the looks of it most of the people saying buy one dont actually have one, why is that?i

Yeah, who'd want a popular bike for when it comes time to sell it. Get something that nobody wants because - oh wait that doesn't work...

    999 hands down!

came very close to buying one myself (but a wee bit over my budget)
love the styling and the engine, great all round bike...and like most Italian rides, the smile factor is off the chart!

ps...if you can spring for it...get the 999s

Because both happen to be the ugliest model each manufacturer has made recently? Or because the Ducati is just better

Oh hell yeah, that 1125 looks like a clubbed foot with a mean as overbite.

    Now you're onto it

In ten years time that Buell will (still) be a pig-ugly orphan, and the 999 a classic

I loves the Streetfucker. The Multissssssssstrada (lisp needed), Diavel, Elephant and well, more or less any Monster are poo in my books.
The 999 series is growing on me and they're becoming pretty good value too.
