    Petrol caps?

    Hi guys,

so my brother is an airhead and forgot my scooter cap at the BP when he last used it. I have no idea how he managed to do this and the BP doesn't have the cap, nor is it anywhere in the area.

He's offered to replace it, which is great, however we can't figure out where to buy one. We've checked TradeMe and Googled around but we're a bit lost.

I've got a Yamaha Jog, I don't know if different scooter models have different petrol tank cap sizes. I'd prefer to not opt for a really expensive one (although I'll have to if there's nothing else).

Can someone help me figure out where I can buy a petrol cap for my Yamaha Jog?

    That's what I was thinking.
Usually you can get universal caps, most Asian scooters run similar sized caps (correct me if I'm worng) that are a tapered fitting, 33/39mm is quite common, from what I've noticed there are three very common sizes, the other two slip my mind.

Just put a cork in it bro

I did a job trial at a gas station once. Let some poor fella drive off without replacing his gas cap. I felt like the biggest tit on the planet. I owned up to the boss immediately and thought to myself "theres no way im gonna here from these guys again"

3 days later I get a message on my phone saying I've got the job if I want it !! .... lol

You only left one off? I'm surprised you got the job as you were obviously over qualified!

hang out at a gas station until someone rides in on a JOG and swipe their cap, you'll only hear about it if they're a KB member

I'd try Supercheap Auto and Repco.

You could also try a Motorcycle Wrecker.
