Harley Davidson: The most efficient way to convert gasoline into noise without the side effects of horsepower.

'Fast' Harleys are only fast compared to stock Harleys.

Wonder if we're about to discover whether or not an 1125 can outrun a stormfront the length of the island...

Why doesn't is surprise me to find you positioned between a vendor and a buyer?

Weather travels surprisingly close to normal cruising speeds in my expcerience. I managed to remain smack in the centre of a fucking great low pressure system for pretty much the full length of the south island two Burts ago.

Yes, yes it can! I regretfully had to turn down Pete's offer of coffee as I was aware of approaching weather. Had a couple of gusts in Wellie that were a bit unexpecteed but I HTFU'ed and tucked into my wets. I did get some dry road between Wanganui and Raetihi so made the most of that! Bike went awesome and didn't miss a beat tho I think I need to do a TBS!
Thanks again Pete for brokering the deal! Was like a hostage negotiation! Hahahahahaha! Just have to ride the wet roads from aucks to Whangas this morn.
Have a tingling finger tip on one hand and the tips of my arse are the same? Hoping that is not long term!

Get Mama Jo to give you a jolly good when you get home, that should sort the tingles, replaced with a nice warm glow

Thanks Anne but I have to be a good boy to get that treatment!

    820km test ride

Bike went well but is now very dirty! I will go back on TM and look for a clean one. I will have to find a downloadable owners manual so I can work out how the digital display works! No fuel guage! The first warning is when you get a countdown to empty! Still, at least you know what the Aptmospheric temp is that you will be walking in! Tacho needle was totally psychotic for the first few hundred k's and I managed to reset it by turning the key on and off a few times.

Drop me a line at work and I'll see if we've got a spare manual floating around mate. Failing that...they're cheap as fuck anyway.

    Glad you got home safely!
