Sadly, it's rather illegal, so I won't be cruising on it this weekend and I don't trust the temp gauge, have a bling digital one coming anyway.

So...time to put the battery in the GN

    Right-o.

Bikes parked in the garage begging for me to make it moar pretty. So I'm deciding what to do there.

On a bit of a side note, I think the next bike I acquire should be a twin. It's not possible to enjoy the power of the 600 and be even remotely legal, even with the 48t rear it's pulling 180k or so in third

lol, thats why Guy Martin bought an Aston Martin, recon'd u can't go fast enough for a thrill/rush on the public roads on a big bike

yea - I been meaning to get a diesel twin for fuckn yeaaaars now.. closest I got was the srx600 single banger.. nice thump

and ofcourse the 2 stroke twin but its not the same.

is the streetfighter riding how u want it to etc? could spend plenty of time on chassis setup etc..

    or just polish more bits

I love how you can enjoy a twin and be doing "sane" speeds.
On this wee fellow it turns on something chronic at 7000rpm and it's bloody addictive, problem being, it's silly to be using that power and beige as fuck when you're not.

It's really nice to ride now, great for a back road carve up, seat foam may help even more.

Another issue I have, is every time I go to Palmy and stop in to see Bogan, I need to buy a Bros650 again. My one was superb fun and sounded amazeballs.

I'll polish lots more stuff, people should send me lots to do though

    hehe im a diy'er anyway

ill see if i can finish those wheels me'self.

always thought a twin less than 1000 would be a bit beige too..

but i guess the 600 single was a good laugh. sure as hell wasn't quick but made noise and vibrated like hell.

Mine was pushing 71rwhp, with dodgy suspension, proper excitement that! (Me being a dick + tank slapper prone set up = huge slapper)
I suppose I could buy a GB Honda, have always lusted after one and I could spend hours polishing it before I crash it? A GB with USD's and wire wheels = pure sex.

Rip in to those wheels man!

Ahhh.... I do not have one of these rocket ships, thou one that can do 240k/h where anything below 140k/h made me fall asleep. My license was always close to maxed and I was watching for the law around every corner and at any straight. So I got my self a 65 Panhead. Now 100k/h is fun again.

I got a little OCD again today.

Last ride revealed an oil leak on the RHS somewhere.
So, I was on my back under the bike and the sump was dirty...toothbrush and petrol...oil lines need a clean too... this went on for a while. So it's spotless and I know it's seeping past the lower washer on the RHS feed to the oil cooler and I suspect the gaskets on the RHS aren't too happy, but this all works out for my grand plan for the timing cover, will reveal later in this post.

I found a leak on my rear brake M/C. Me being me pulled out a spare M/C and while looking for pretty banjo bolts found a set of seals for it (Fuck, I keep finding parts I forget I've got)
So, me, still being me, polished the spare M/C up. Looked wanky, so painted it black...looks awesome
But then I had to find new bolts and polish them, because the old ones were burred and ugly.
Then the rest of the rear set/peg looked poo.
So I stripped it all down, polished most of it and painted one part silver (behind where the peg sits, would be a dick of a thing to keep polished)
Then I had to polish up the bolts for the rear set, they looked wanky, so I scuffed 'em up and now they're nice/brushed looking.

BUT THEN!!!!!!! the rear brake light switch looked gheeey.
So, I pulled it apart, painted the bracket black, cleaned it up inside and looked at it for a bit.
The wires went straight up from it, which I bloody hate, ugly sinful things.
So, off with the switch again and removed the rubber condom thing on top, bent the wires over flat and put a different condom thing on (a right angle one from a spare starter motor feed) and cleaned it up too, nice and pretty and black and not an eye-sore.
Then the bolt for that looked ugly...

So, I got all that together and I've miss-placed a banjo bolt that I'd polished up, will find it tomorrow.

I now want to hide the rear reservoir, because it just looks stupid, might see if I can mount it behind the peg. (Don't want a big black line running up under the tail, how crass)

Right, so that's all happening and I've had to pull the other rear set to re-detail it to match lol

Timing cover plan: I'm going to start making some carbon parts in the near (I hope) future. I'll be making a carbon timing cover, I'll also be wanting a cut-out one with a sight hole just for wank factor.
Was thinking I could also wrap the tank/tail in real carbon too...I love carbon

So, there will probably be a few more random OCD type updates, there are little bits all over the place that fuck me off, like wiring, I hate wires being seen, the loom is total gay-burger, I'd like to make it one piece where it exits the frame and is seen, but I'll build a full loom for it one of these days (Probably around the time when I decide it needs fuel injection)

I'm going to lick the screen!!!!
Carbon frame based on a ZXR400 unit... It weighs 133kg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fuck me!
Hmm...maybe I should invest in an E model motor, more aggressive cams, lighter internals, easy to get more CC from.

Now I'm off to look at ZXR400H/L frames...
