make some plywood blanks that will seal over the crankcase mouths, buy some cheep standard engine oil and fill to the top of crankcase mouth and then fit the plywood cover to keep dust mice small children etc out. DO NOT COVER WITH FISH OIL, this has a solvent in it to make it flow and when this evaporates it sets like a good coat of paint which is what it is meant to do to rust proof internal panels on cars. I have had to work on a engine that had been preserved in fish oil it took two days of cleaning everything before i could realy start, and it included a full strip down to get all the flakes out. Standard engine oil you just drain out. If the area you are storing the parts in can get damp check the oil once in a while, if it goes milky change it.
